Soybean Meal manufactured by DHN INTERNATIONAL is a flowing, coarse, and granular product produced from cleaned, Non-GMO soybeans. After a series of preparatory physical processes, the soybeans undergo multistage oil extraction to produce this high-quality meal.

Soybean meal is the most important protein source used to feed farm animals, representing two-thirds of the total world output of protein feedstuffs, including all other major oil meals and fish meal. The world's top producers of soy are the United States, Brazil, Argentina, China, and India.

The protein fraction of soybeans finds its way into soybean meal as a livestock feed ingredient, soy protein ingredients for the food industry, and for industrial uses such as paper coatings and adhesives. Soybean meal is the by-product of the extraction of soybean oil, with several processes resulting in different products.

This unique product is highly desirable as animal feed in India due to its high protein content and nutritional value.

Soybean meal is usually classified for marketing by its crude protein content. There are two main categories of soybean meal:

1. High-Protein Soybean Meal: Contains 47-49% protein and 3% crude fiber, obtained from de-hulled seeds.
2. Conventional Soybean Meal: Contains 43-44% protein and includes the hulls.

In solvent-extracted soybean meals, the oil content is typically lower than 2%, while it exceeds 3% in mechanically-extracted meals.

DHN INTERNATIONAL offers both Normal Soybean Meal and De-hulled Soybean Meal. Normal Soybean Meal has a lower protein content compared to De-hulled Soybean Meal due to the inclusion of hulls, which standardize the crude protein level to range between 46-48%. In contrast, the crude protein in De-hulled Soybean Meal ranges from 48% onwards. Soybean meal has a higher energy value compared with other protein sources, making it one of the most consistent protein ingredients available to the feed formulator.
